Treatment

We are proud to be one of the few orthodontic offices where the Doctor sees and treats each and every patient at every appointment. Our staff members are utilized as an auxiliary for treatment, but your child deserves to have his or her orthodontic care performed by an orthodontist that has spent extra years in post doctoral education to achieve the finest possible results.

Appointments

If you would like to make an appointment, please contact our office by phone or email. Our office facilitates communications and emergency calls and appointments are available and welcome, especially for new patients.

Financial

We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

Meet the Staff

Lynette – Leawood Office Administrator

Lynette has been a part of the orthodontic team since September 2006, and involved in orthodontic and general practice offices for 16 years. Her goal is to make each patient and parent feel like they are part of the Rosevear Orthodontics family - changing lives one smile at a time with a “beautiful smile that lasts a lifetime.” Lynette is the person who will greet and talk with you about your insurance, payment schedules, appointment priorities, scheduling, and all the different events that are happening with your family and friends. At times, you will see her chairside, assisting Dr. Rosevear with patients.

Lynette is married and lives in Overland Park. She has two adult children. Lynette is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys teaching classes at the Yoga Studio in Overland Park. Lynette was born and reared in Clay Center, KS, and attended and graduated from Barton College.

Meet The Doctor

Meet Dr. Rosevear

Dr. Rosevear was born and raised in the Seattle, Washington area. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound and completed his dental education with a DDS degree at the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Dentistry. He received his graduate education in orthodontics at West Virginia University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received a post-doctoral M.S. degree.

Dr. Rosevear’s early practice years were spent in association with noted orthodontists in Eugene, Oregon and Frankfurt, Germany. He was an assistant professor of dentistry at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry where he was chairman of the department of morphology and occlusion. He took a leave of absence to begin his private practice of orthodontics, and continues to hold that position with the university. He is also a part time faculty member of the dental hygiene department at Johnson County Community College. He has lectured to academic groups, organizations and universities both locally and throughout the USA.

Dr. Rosevear is involved in professional organizations and holds membership in the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the Greater Kansas City Orthodontic Association, the American Dental Association, and the Kansas Dental Association.

Dr. Rosevear is a volunteer leader for 30 years of the UMKC Dental Outreach program, a self funded organization of dentists, senior students, and auxiliary personnel who deliver dental care to orphans in Venezuela and Honduras. The group, established in 1985, travels to South and Central America annually, and provides treatment to over 1400 children from orphanages throughout the country. Since 2005, Dr. Rosevear has also been a team member of the dental outreach group that brings treatment to poor and underserved people in the villages around Pimienta Honduras.

Dr. Rosevear resides in Overland Park, Kansas. He has two adult sons, Scott, a graduate of Kansas State University, and Landon, a graduate of the University of Kansas. Dr. Rosevear enjoys canoeing, bird hunting, motorcycle trips, and camping. He volunteers at his church, where he dedicates his time to serving on the technical production service crew.
